Yes, sounds good. They have a good replacement for the game (although some Western powers could pit her fist strikes, and improve defensively), takedowns and judo and is ideal for traction. To further improve their catch, train BJJ. :)

Judo is great, but you can have a ground game.

Enjoy fighting Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or submission, if he wants to be able to dominate an opponent on the ground.

Although judo has some excellent shooters and communication, the emphasis is indeed in the throws. So, if you throw your opponent on the ground, it can interface with a presentation as well as Jiu-Jitsu.

Hmm. One thing in MMA is that you should learn as many styles as possible, not restricted. However, it is probably best to start with an art gripping and surprisingly complement each other. Both use the rivet to a combo box unpredictable. Would you like your knees, you start or he must pull his opponet? Keep guessing. I would say that I work well. Karo Pariysian combined his mastery of the techniques of Judo Muay Thai in a similar manner.

BJJ also help. So, to beat boxing and wrestling to improve his fist.
