Trout fishing tips? (from shoreline, lures, national park)? - fishing lures spoons

Hello,
Log trout fishing again this season. I live in a national park, so no bait allowed.
I have some basic lures and spoons ... with moderate success, money, gold spoons and rooster tail style lures.
I use a casting rod, fishing over 90% of the time on the coast - in the streams and small lakes.

Suggestions for the types of baits and techniques for my situation? Thanks
